Writing

Whereas with many of the other areas of my creative life, I often find myself debating the art/craft issue, writing feels a lot more personal. Perhaps this is because writing is a mode of expression much closer to the writer's soul. Whether it's a user manual or an essay on depression, I enjoy the process of refining the text to reduce ambiguity, unless it's deliberate, and to find that perfect phrase expressing just what I wanted to say.
