Wood

Wood has been at the heart of much of my creative interest. There is such a range of appearances and characteristics across and within species and wood has an inherent personality that can be both a help and a hindrance at times. Contrast the ease of working with modern oak versus the challenges in dealing with 400-year-old roof trusses in The Ridge Racer. And when this wood has an interesting provenance and history, its personality is enhanced.
