Glazed balloon pot

This pot was a fortuitous error. My intention had been to make another version of the balloon pot The Iris, but one side of the pot got damaged and I decided to cut away the damage and flatten the opposite end, thus completely changing the orientation of the pot. It turned into a really satisfying shape and I took inspiration from a book on South African ceramics and created a design using coloured underglazes, but with no final clear glaze.
