The Sheperdess

While searching for interesting lino-cuts and wood-cuts, I stumbled across this piece by the Canadian artist Shawn Shepherd. The only version of this picture I've been able to find is the following at 250x333 pixels:

The image was traced in a vector graphics package and steps followed similar to those described in Portrait No 1. The following two images show the completed piece in two different lighting conditions showing how the shadows move with a varying light source.
